Account Managers / New Business Development Managers are required to join their Successful and Dynamic sales teams!
The Scientific business of Our Client provides information and knowledge to accelerate research, discovery and innovation to the Pharmaceutical and biotech industries. They provide information that is essential for drug companies to discover new drugs and get them to market faster.
Due to continued success Our Client has several exciting and challenging new opportunities for Account Managers and New Business Development Managers to sell their various online scientific information Products (subscription based) into the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Markets.
The Account Manager will be responsible for effectively managing and growing revenue from existing customers through developing and maintaining strong business relationships. This will involve promoting products, identifying training needs and providing customer training on a wide ranging product portfolio.
New Business Development Managers will be working together with the Account Manager and the other New Business Development Managers in the territory teams and will be responsible for exploring and developing new markets with the key aim of increasing the number of customers and the total value of the business. This will involve promoting and selling a wide ranging and complex product portfolio, fully supported by a marketing and product development programme, with the overall goal of achieving demanding but realistic targets in a fast paced sales environment.
The post holder must be prepared to spend a proportion of their time visiting clients.
This role hinges on personality and fit however you should be commercially minded regardless of which sector you come from and have a knowledge of the Pharma R&D and Healthcare Industries. Be interested in driving the role of Account Manager or Business Developer forward across the Pharmaceutical market. The most important thing is that you have the Sales, Business Development skills and sales track record. Be driven to succeed and have great communication skills. A 2nd Italian and/ Spanish European language is also desirable.
